Lou, 33 and Carmen, 34, have been married twelve years now. Carmen recently decided to stop work and become a stay-at-home mom, raising Selena, 10 and Isabel, 8. When making this decision, Lou began to worry about what would happen if Carmen wasn’t around to care for their children. So they together decided to purchase life insurance, so that each would be covered if something were to suddenly happen to the other. This way, Carmen will still have an income if something happened to Lou, and Lou would be able to take time off work to care for the children if something were to happen to Carmen.
