“We give people the opportunity to express their love for the special people in their lives through the life insurance products we sell. What an amazing business to be a part of!” said Illinois Mutual President Katie McCord Jenkins. “The Insure Your Love campaign is a great tool to help us and agents connect with this meaningful message.”

Illinois Mutual has taken several big steps to improve our Voluntary Workplace Insurance portfolio.

In September 2013 we launched our Workplace Term product just in time for fall’s open enrollment season.  Replacing our Interest Whole Life product, the new Workplace Term is designed for today’s customers who are looking for flexibility and increased benefits. The new product allows for 10- and 20-year policies, which may include employee and spouse.

Internal Regional Sales Representative Heather Walker says in addition to keeping a middle-America feel, the product is consumer friendly. “We are revamping our Workplace portfolio and including all the voluntary products an agent would need to take into an employer. This product is a perfect fit for the current marketplace,” she says.

In addition to the Workplace Term Life product, we have re-priced our Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage.  These changes, along with our competitive Accident coverage, ensure our Workplace portfolio is better than...

Each month features three winners and there is one grand prize winner for the calendar’s cover. Donations were made to each winner’s...
