Effective immediately, the following actions are applicable until 9-27-2021 for all affected policyowners in Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, Pointe Coupee, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington, West Baton Rouge, or West Feliciana parishes, and any other parishes that subsequently declare an emergency due to Hurricane Ida in the state of Louisiana.
- Extensions on payment of premium. Policyowners in the affected areas of Alabama may defer premium payments that come due, interest free, until 9-27-2021. Any cancellation or lapse notices you receive may be ignored if the lapse or cancellation date is prior to 9-27-2021. Premium should be paid by 9-27-2021.
- Extensions on other time limits. Illinois Mutual is extending the time periods for taking other actions that have time limits, such as the submission of a claim, proof of loss or other information, up to and including 9-27-2021.
