Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by the devastating storm in Kentucky, including our own Illinois Mutual policyowners and agents who have suffered due to this storm. As a company dedicated to giving back to others, we are extending our service offerings to help those affected by this storm.
Effective immediately, the following actions are applicable until January 10, 2022 for all affected policyowners in Boyle, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Caldwell, Calloway, Casey, Christian, Edmonson, Fulton, Graves, Grayson, Green, Hardin, Hart, Hickman, Hopkins, Livingston, Logan, Lyon, Marion, Marshall, Meade, Monroe, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Shelby, Spencer, Taylor, Todd, and Warren counties, and any other counties that subsequently declare an emergency due to this storm in the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
- Extensions on payment of premium. Policyowners in the affected areas of Kentucky may defer premium payments that come due, interest free, until January 10, 2022. Any cancellation or lapse notices you receive may be ignored if the lapse or cancellation date is prior to January 10, 2022. Premium should be paid by January 10, 2022.
- Extensions on other time limits. Illinois Mutual is extending the time periods for taking other actions that have time limits, such as the submission of a claim, proof of loss or other information, up to and including January 10, 2022.
