President’s Message

2023 was a fantastic year for Illinois Mutual. Our efforts remained intently focused on innovation in the industry and a steadfast commitment to financial strength to be there for our policyowners when they need us most.

In 2023, we took key opportunities to ensure we provide the best customer experience for policyowners and agents. For policyowners, we made enhancements to our My Policy portal to include more ways to stay up to date on their policy, and improved our support procedures so we can best serve them. For our agents, we made additional improvements to our Agent Portal, including making the platform more user friendly and stress free. We also introduced a program for starting professionals to offer them disability income insurance (DI), allowing agents to sell to a broader audience and allowing us to cover more policyowners. These enhancements resulted from your feedback and our pledge to deliver on our promise to keep your best interests at the forefront of everything we do.

I am extremely proud of our team for achieving certification as a Great Place to Work^® for the fourth year—and counting. This recognition exemplifies our core values centered on integrity, support, and our focus on our employees.
