Assistance for Indiana Policyowners Affected by Severe Weather.

Recently, residents of Indiana were impacted by severe weather, derecho, tornadic activity and flooding that began August 11, 2026 and continued through August 16, 2026.

For our policyowners:

Effective immediately, the following actions are applicable until October 16, 2026, for all affected policyowners in the state of Indiana due to this severe weather event:

Extensions on payment of premium. Policyowners in Indiana may defer premium payments that come due, interest-free, until October 16, 2026. Any cancellation or lapse notices you receive may be ignored if the lapse or cancellation date is prior to October 16, 2026. Premium should be paid by October 16, 2026.
Extensions on other time limits. Illinois Mutual is extending the time periods for taking other actions that have time limits, such as the submission of a claim, proof of loss or other information, up to and including October 16, 2026.
