DIAM focuses on the value of disability income insurance (DI), because life happens. The monthly DI benefit can replace a portion of your paycheck if a disabling illness or injury prevents you from working.
What if your last paycheck was your last paycheck? How would you pay bills?
To understand how much DI you might need, add up how much you pay for basic monthly expenses like your mortgage, utilities and groceries. Then think about childcare costs, student loan debts and other monthly expenses.
